The One With the Beautiful Bridey Girl
Eye to Eye with Your Artist
I couldn’t be prouder of this session. I really really love the results. If you like this session then we see eye to eye and I will be a good choice as a photographer for you. If you read my blog posts, (is anyone reading this?) you may remember my suggestions for selecting a photographer. If you didn’t get a chance to read that article, then I would recommending popping over there, it will be really helpful. Photographers are not all the same, we don’t possess the same level of skill, talent, or vision. Make sure you choose one that sees eye to eye with you. This session is a combination of the perfect time of year, a terrific location, and one beautiful girl who dressed well!
A Turn for the Worst: Redeemed
Meet Bridey. She is a happy, spunky, talented ray of total sunshine. She has a great big personality in a little tiny package! I was certain that I would never have the blessing of photographing her. A few years ago, while photographing her older brother, I took a devastating step and shattered my elbow joint. Although, I got excellent photographs of him I had to cut the session short for obvious reasons. A few days later (prior to joint replacement surgery), I finished his session with the help of my darling husband. It was a very rough time. This family, was so gracious to me. Thank you! I love my wonderful clients and this family is so terrific and kind!
Why It Works
I love this session, not only is Bridey naturally beautiful, but she is full of personality and put together well. One of the best ways to get really great senior portraits is selecting the right wardrobe. I recommend at least three outfits that are flattering, fit well, and demonstrate your personality. Bridey chose three outfits. As you can see, we have plenty of time for multiple clothing changes during our senior session. She followed my senior portrait dressing suggestions perfectly. You can read all about it in my senior styling tip article. Bridey’s choices ensured that she had a successful portrait session. For her first outfit, a sweet little sun dress is always smart, simple and easily accessorized. She chose to pair it with a delicate chain and bracelets, and a great pair of shoes. The second outfit was blue jeans, a t-shirt, and letterman jacket. The third outfit was her dance costume and we finished her session with a beautiful prom dress. This session was an all inclusive session that was not only day to night but multiple locations!
